Here are a few of Cagayan de Oro City's Pastel sold at the airport. There's also Pastel de Pots of Pots and Pans, and of course, Malunggay Pastel sold only at Urgena Fruit Stand.. With all these different companies selling Pastel, could we now call Cagayan de Oro City as the Home of Pastel???

Whenever brother goes to CDO, he would always bring home Vjandep's Pastel. I have tasted the original yema, cheese, ube and strawberry, and my favorite is the ube. I sure hope we could taste the other pastel too, just to have some point of comparison.

I have tried the pastel malunggay and the taste is different.
There is a new brand - Pastel de Oro. It is sooooooo yummy and less sweet that you will crave for more. The buns are so soft and soooo good!. It's also available in the airport.
